Hey, you can now check out my message board, soon to be full of... hopefully good stuff!! Visit it at http://mkissel.proboards32.com/ Thank you for visiting my new Internet site, pull up a chair and have a drink.. on me. This site is going to be devoted to "surprise" me! Future plans include beating my friends for insane comments in the guestbook section, possible a Quandary of the Week--Question of the week for those of you that may be visiting Margaritaville right now. A little bit of information about yours truly and hopefully a place to meet some new faces or at least email names! Who is this Matt guy, better get comfortable for this one... I live in SW Missouri and have lived here all my life... For those of you wondering what goes on in SW Missouri... Nothing much, no beaches, some bars, no boats, and most of the ladies I know couldn't care less for any ballads. Oh, yeah by the way I'm a huge fan of Jimmy Buffett; Parrothead extraordinaire!! After high school, which I've managed to regress or suppress with many a visit to Margaritaville... I went to college, took the 8 year plan, thought I was going to be an engineer and ended up in computer programming. I finally did graduate with a B.S. in Math, B.S. in Programming and an A.S. in Computer Networking.. and yes the BS in many cases stands for Bull SH*& and the AS, well let's just say the campus of M.S.S.C-- as it was known in my days--had some incredible scenery. Ok, so I made it through college, just in time before M.S.S.C decided to put a U on the end instead of a C and start charging arms and legs for tuition--almost as bad as the gas companies now... hmmm maybe they work for the same company... Alright, I'm out of college and got a job at Jack Henry and Associates as a support programmer who specialized in Credit Life and Disability Insurance in our Loan Quote program--wake up, it really is pretty interesting!! I spent almost a couple of years in the trenches there finding out I really could program pretty well.. even though I learned C++ in college and now I'm playing with RPG--that's Report Generated Programming language, not Role Playing Game, although I'm in to that also--nothing like a grand adventure of dice rolling and using the squishy thing inside my skull for something other than putting food on the table. Where was I, too many tangents.... at least they meet at a point called omega--math joke.. just laugh and enjoy it... So, I've recently landed a job as a development programmer for the department I'm working for at Jack Henry, it's a great job, with great people and a wonderful boss--ok had to put that in, raises are coming up soon, can't hurt to smooze a little bit eh? Just enjoying life right now and am interested in hearing anything from anyone who may be bored enough to read this. For those of you who like to ramble or would like to tell me how horrible or wonderful my site is.. keep in mind it's pretty young and I'm a busy man.
